General Activities
Martial Activities:
King’s Assessment marks our final melee-centered event before the journey to Pennsic! Join us on the battlefield and test your mettle in heavy combat, rapier, siege warfare, and archery. Prepare, compete, and stand ready – this is your chance to sharpen your skills before war!
A&S competition:
#1: Black Diamond Baronial Champion – bring your best and be ready to impress Their Excellencies as they select their Arts and Sciences Champion.
#2: Open display and solar – bring your current projects to work on, or finished projects you want to show off and/or get feedback on, and join us for a few hours of good company and conversation. Comment cards for displayed items are optional, and will be provided by the organizer.
#3: Day-Board competition – Hospitality is a core component of the society that we have created, and nowhere is this more on display than under the pavilions around the list-field. Entrants should prepare a day-board style hospitality table and be prepared for a judging team of 3 to arrive between 11am and 12 noon. Judges will consider both aesthetic and practical aspects of the hospitality offered, and the winner will receive a gift basket sponsored by Dame Juliana Greene. Participants can pick up a special banner at Troll to hang on their pavilion indicating that they wish to participate.
Feast:
Come enjoy a hearty meal of Roman Burgers, Sausage Rolls and Tinue Barbacoa. Sides to include Mac and cheese, parsnip salads, green salads and green beans with bacon.
Merchants: TBA
