Black Diamond encourages poetry in all members, regardless of experience, and any poetry is welcome, especially in period styles.

Maistresse Maaline Renard

A former Poeta Atlantia, Maistresse Maaline Renard writes poetry in a variety of period styles including the lengthy Chaucer-inspired Black Diamond Tales written completely in Middle English and has begun writing works of poetry in Old French and Chinese. Maistresse Maaline does her best to ensure that none forget that period works of poetry were far more entertaining to read and write than high school English classes would have us all believe.
