For many of the A&S forms there are competitions. These give our artisans the chance to show their skills, expand if challenged for a specific goal and gives the motivation to create something new.

All kinds of art is expressive, it’s meant to invoke meaning, feeling and intent. It’s for the enjoyment of self, primarily, others second. When we sing we can invoke laughter, tears, even long lost memories. When we create good food it fills our bellies and fuels our souls. In these things we share our love of our craft and one another.
