challenging targets.  The day will include a clout, moving targets, static
targets, and timed and untimed shooting stations with a Canterbury
Tales theme, as well as a dragon and woods walk. On Saturday
at 2pm, we will hold our Archery Champion Competition (more details
to come). Friday night will have an after Night Shoot at 6pm. This event
will be an excellent opportunity to hone your skills before the Royal Archery
Tournament on June 7th!

Thrown Weapons competition based on the Canterbury Tales.
There will be 2 ranges available, one for training and the other for tourney.
MiT’s welcome.

Armored scenarios as follows:
Three stage progressive capture the flag battle. First stage is a broken field.
Second stage is the bridges with the third stage being the tower.
Attackers start at the first Rez point and fight until they capture a flag on
the broken fields. As soon as attackers capture the flag, it becomes their
new Rez point and the defenders fall back. Attackers fight until they get
across a bridge and capture another flag. At that point, defenders fight
from the tower and are no longer unlimited Rez. Attackers stay unlimited
Rez for the entire battle. Victory condition is whomever completes the entire
scenario in the shortest time. Combat, archery and siege will be on both attack
and defense.
Arts & Sciences:A&S activities will include a leather work competition and a target
competition:
* The leather-work competition will be open to any medieval
leather-work objects, such as archery equipment, mugs, bottles,
accessories etc. This will be a standard judged competition so
documentation is recommended as a courtesy to the judges.
* Archery target competition theme is The Nun’s Priest’s Tale for
The Canterbury Tales, a story of a rooster, his wife and a sly fox that
tricks him. The competition is to pick one of these characters and to
make a target for our archers to shoot! The archers will pick their
favorites and the target with the most arrows will be the winner!
(The size for the targets are 1’x1′ minimum and 5’x 2.5′ maximum, and
no wood or metal. The targets need to be suitable for standard SCA arrows.
No backing required.)
